Authorized integrations should use the platform’s documented authentication flow, validate every response, protect credentials in server-side configuration, and respect rate limits. Public data endpoints are not API documentation and should not be used as an integration contract.
Integration checklist
- Use server-side secrets and HTTPS only.
- Scope access to the minimum required role.
- Validate IDs, permissions, and response status.
- Log failures without storing sensitive learner data.
